"Bernie" Till Jr. as a Fellow. Till, with decades of experience in the industry and specifically in fire protection, will bring a new skill set to BGS.

Till, a distinguished fire protection engineering professional, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, including over 30 years of experience at U.S. Department of Energy facilities, including as Chief Fire Protection Engineer for Consolidated Nuclear Securities LLC at both the Pantex and Y-12 sites. Prior to this role, he was the Fire Protection Engineering Manager at Savannah River Remediation, overseeing the fire protection strategies for the Liquid Waste Facilities at the Savannah River Site.

Till is an active member of several prominent national technical committees. He chairs the NFPA Technical Committee on Fire Protection for Nuclear Facilities, serves on the American Glovebox Society Standards Committee, and contributes to the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Committees focused on fire exposures and fire department interventions.

Till holds a Master's in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's in computer science from Francis Marion University.
