WOBURN, Mass. - Tennsun -- Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc., a leader in printing inks, coatings, adhesives, and industrial printing solutions, introduces the Citrine® SAP-G70 Primer—a silicone adhesion promoter for aiding cured silicone bond to silicone, rubber, metal, and plastic materials.

Silicone substrates pose unique bonding challenges because of their low surface energy and specific chemical characteristics, which highlights the necessity for developing this primer.

The SAP-G70 Primer is the first step in achieving a reliable, permanent bond between silicone rubber and other materials when using Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc. silicone bonding adhesives. This primer is also compatible with other silicone rubber adhesives and sealants available in the market place. Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc. silicone glue products include the SA1-370, SA1-373, and SA1-390 silicone glue.

"We continue to leverage lessons learned from the development of our new product and use this knowledge to deliver innovative solutions for industrial applications. The G70 is such an example, in which we have borrowed heavily from ink adhesion promoters, combining that with our extensive knowledge and research of silicone material. The result is an exceptional solution for bonding silicone to silicone as well as to other materials," stated Bonaventure Mutuku, COO of Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc.

The SAP-G70, when paired with the SA1-370 Silicone Glue, provides permanent adhesion to silicone substrates and effectively bonds silicone to various other materials.
