(Ferrone Associates, or FA) provides leadership engagement and consulting services using a network of subject matter experts as needed.  The firm specializes in assisting leaders to define their project scope and implementation strategies that will serve their clients or customers.  This role is particularly useful to Federal Agencies across all industries and topics needing to define the scope of their initiative prior to putting it out for RFI or RFP.  Primary services include Facilitation, Concept Modeling, and White Boarding to first define the strategy and scope, followed by Project Leadership skills to implement the plan.  The firm offers outsourced Project Leadership for internal or external-facing projects and initiatives.

Using an innovative and strategic storyboard approach, Ferrone Associates engages leaders to understand their situation and the direction they want to take and then to articulate a vision of the desired state.  The team then builds a conceptual model that illustrates the path to achieving the vision.  Leaders have confidence that their ideas have been harnessed and are reflected in the model, and they can now effectively communicate about it to their internal teams as well as to their external clients and customers.  Teams are well-positioned to understand their direction, including the why and the how of it.  The team's strategic alignment and its ability to communicate about it represent the cornerstone of implementation success.

John M. Ferrone is a 28-year seasoned consultant who specializes in providing the catalytic boost that leaders need to understand and respond effectively to their situation (whether it's a challenge or an opportunity), and he does this by mining and leveraging the expertise of the team.  Outside subject matter expertise can be accessed as needed. However, it is the philosophy of Ferrone Associates that the best solutions are those that come from the team that must own and implement them.  Thus, Mr. Ferrone challenges teams to identify and overcome the roadblocks that have kept them from being their best, and he provides strategic leadership and coaching to assist and empower them to implement their project plans to realize their visions.

Mr. Ferrone is a management consultant and organizational coach who challenges organizations and people to articulate their vision and to be their best, as well as empowers them with tools to pursue their future visions.

He earned his BA in English and Secondary Education from Creighton University and both his Masters in English and Masters of Business Administration from Iowa State University.  For nearly 30 years, he has been assisting organizations and people to address tough questions that require answers, and in doing so, he helps them achieve focus and build momentum.  He combines high energy and an intuitive sense for hidden roadblocks to become the catalyst for leaders and organizations to define and articulate their vision, plan to reach it, and ultimately achieve their potential.

He started his career in 1995 with Deloitte Consulting, where he specialized in information technology systems integration before transitioning service lines and assisting to develop Deloitte's Change Leadership methodology.  In 1999, he joined Renaissance Government Solutions and became Vice President of the Indianapolis office prior to launching Ferrone Associates in 2001.
